Lead Tech & Stage Manager

Silambam Houston stages everything from intimate Abhyasa recitals at the Cultural Arts Center to sold-out company productions at the Hobby Center and Miller Outdoor Theater. As lead tech and stage manager, I run the production side so performers can focus on the art.

• Coordinate lighting, sound, and stage logistics for student showcases, Abhyasa performances, and full company productions.
• Lead load-in, tech rehearsals, and strike for shows at the center and at outside venues across Houston.
• Support the Abhyasa platform — Silambam provides the venue and tech crew so emerging artists can present full-length traditional repertoire and gain stage experience.
• Manage backstage flow, cues, and communication between performers, faculty, and front-of-house during live events.
